Deep Purple returns to Romania on December 10, in Cluj Napoca

Deep Purple is one of the most iconic rock bands that has explored new styles over the years, sparking the interest of those not born when Deep Purple was at the top of the music industry charts. Successful albums such as “In Rock” (1970), “Machine Head” (1972), “Made In Japan” ( 1973) and the songs “Smoke On The Water“, “Child In Time” and “Soldier Of Fortune” propelled the band to the top of the charts and album sales.

With countless classics to their name, their live appearances have sparked much debate among fans old and new, especially after the re-release of “NOW WHAT?!”. Gold and Top Ten around the world, the album sold over a million copies. Add to that over a million concert-goers so far. The videos “From the Setting Sun in wacken” and “To the Rising Sun in Tokyo” reached number 1 and 2 in the UK music charts on the same day, proving once again the fascination that the band’s shows hold for audiences.

On stage in Cluj lead singer Ian Gillan (lead singer), drummer Ian Paice (drums) and Roger Glover on bass guitar will be joined by guitarist Steve Morse and ringer Don Airey.
